An interesting email came from Charles Coyne – founder and organizer of the Recumbent Cycle-Con, the US-only recumbent fair. I am a big supporter of good recumbent shows and I have visited all RCCs since the very first one in 2011. That said, I hope, there is an even brighter future for RCC waiting for all of us recumbent enthusiasts.
Here is a press release from Charles Coyne: After producing the annual Recumbent Cycle-Con Trade Show & Convention since 2011, Coyne Publishing, LLC will be transferring the show to new ownership in the coming weeks. Charles Coyne will remain actively involved with all aspects of producing the 2022 show in October at The Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, Ohio. Management members representing the new ownership have been in attendance at all previous Recumbent Cycle-Con events, and are well known in the industry. The new ownership has the industry experience and resources to help strengthen and grow the show, and increase recumbent awareness with consumers and the bicycle industry as well. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.
The 2022 Cycle-Con Weekend is coming up fast, October 7-9, so it’s time to start making you plans to be at The Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, Ohio! Cycle-Con Weekend includes the Adaptive Cycling Expo, Bicycle Tour & Travel Expo, the Electric Cycle-Con, and the Recumbent Cycle-Con.
